Cancellation and Returns Policy

1. Right of cancellation and return
You have the right to cancel the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason, or to return the goods in accordance with these terms.
Consumers within the European Union have the statutory cancellation rights. Consumers in Great Britain have the mandatory consumer rights applicable there.
For orders with a delivery address in Switzerland, GERDESH voluntarily grants a 14-day contractual right of return, unless more extensive mandatory statutory rights apply.
The period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take(s) possession of the goods. If several goods are ordered in one order and delivered separately, the period starts on the day on which you, or a third party named by you, take(s) possession of the last item.
2. Notice of cancellation
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract by means of an unequivocal statement:

You may use our model cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.
Electronic cancellation function
You may also declare your cancellation through the electronic cancellation function provided in our online shop or customer area:
After successful submission through the electronic cancellation function, you will receive an electronic acknowledgement of receipt.
To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notice of cancellation before the period has expired.
3. Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse the payments received from you for the cancelled order, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us, insofar as the applicable law requires reimbursement of these costs.
Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us will not be reimbursed.
For deliveries to Great Britain for which GERDESH offers free standard shipping, no standard shipping charges have been paid to GERDESH that would have to be reimbursed in addition.
Import taxes, customs duties, customs-clearance fees or other amounts paid directly to customs authorities, shipping providers or other third parties, and not received by GERDESH, are not part of the refund to be made by GERDESH. Any claims for reimbursement of such import charges are governed by the rules of the relevant country of import.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after we receive your notice of cancellation, unless the applicable law provides otherwise. We will generally use the same means of payment as used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
4. Returning the goods
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day on which you inform us of cancellation or return, to:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.
Return costs
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, insofar as legally permitted.
The amount of the return costs depends on the shipping method and shipping provider you choose and, where applicable, on the country from which the return is made.
5. Returns portal
To make your return easier, you may use our returns portal:

If a pre-paid return label is offered for your return through the returns portal, you may use it to return the goods.
The customer bears the cost of return shipping. Use of the returns portal is voluntary.
Alternatively, you may send the goods yourself, with sufficient postage, to:

Even if you organise the return yourself, you bear the direct costs incurred for the return, insofar as legally permitted.
6. Complaints, defective or incorrectly delivered goods
The above rule on return costs paid by the customer applies to a normal cancellation or voluntary return.

Where possible, please state your order number and describe the defect. Photos of the affected item may facilitate processing.
The statutory rights relating to defects apply. Where GERDESH is required to bear the necessary return costs due to a defect or incorrect delivery, these costs will not be charged to the customer.
7. Diminished value
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Use of the model cancellation form is voluntary. You may also exercise your cancellation right without using the form, by means of an unequivocal statement or through our electronic cancellation function.
